“Sir Matt Busby died on this day in 1994. Sir Matt managed Manchester United from 1945 to 1969 and again for 6 months in 1970/71 season. During that time he won 5 First Division titles, 2 FA Cups & became the first manager to win the European Cup with an English Club. Sir Matt also managed the Scotland & Great Britain teams for a time.”
