Well what can we say about this excellent match other than a big THANK YOU to all the players involved for giving us a great game of football. You all did the watching managers & parents proud! This was the first meeting between these two teams in the Central Warwicks Premier League U15's due to several postponements over the winter months. Both teams like to play free flowing attacking football but on a massive-muddy pitch it was Wednesfield who settled the quickest & totaly dominated the first half creating lots of chances & limiting Redditch to just 1 or 2. Baz scored early in the first half (missed by the dozy camera man-sorry Baz) with a lovely stinging shot from the edge of the area.W-Field were bossing the game but just couldnt find that killer 2nd goal with Courtney not finding her usual power & Beth firing straight at the keeper with a one on one. Both teams were battling really hard with W-Fields Cody & Rollo dominating the midfield.HALF TIME W-Field 1 Redditch 0. The second half started in much the same way but W-Field just couldnt find that 2nd goal.Manager Paul had warned that Redditch will get back into it if we didnt kill them off & sure enough they started having more of the ball & after some good play the scored a very good equalizer(again missed by the cameraman-what was he doing???).Captain Baz then gave her players a rollicking & to their credit they continued to press Redditch & went back on the attack with Courtney & Beth causing Redditch loads of ...

Stadium pan of St James's Park before the league match between Newcastle and Bolton on the 27th February 2005. I had watched City lose to Sunderland the day before, and because I was catching the train back to Glasgow from Newcastle, as my mates drived home to Cardiff, I had a few hours to kill.....so didn't see any harm in killing them watching football :D Newcastle won the game easily 3-0 I believe. I was using my girlfriends at the time camera, which is why the quality is so shite!

The FA Cup is back this weekend (29-30 January 2011), this is our preview ahead of the 16 fixtures played this Saturday and Sunday, including highlights from some of the amazing games in round 3. 15 Premier League sides survived the threat of a third round giant killing to reach the fourth round. However the number of top flight clubs in round five is guaranteed to be less with five all Premier League clashes taking place this weekend. Crawley Town continue to fly the flag for non-league football, adding Derby County to their impressive list of scalps en route to the last 32. Their reward is a trip to League Two outfit Torquay United who narrowly saw off Carlisle United 1-0 at Plainmoor in round three. Both sides are sure to fancy their chances of victory on Saturday and hopefully securing a money spinning fifth round tie with a Premier League club in the process. Defending champions Chelsea face a tricky fourth round tie at Everton having begun their defence in round three with a comprehensive 7-0 victory over Ipswich Town at Stamford Bridge. Promising young striker Daniel Sturridge capped an impressive display with two goals and is likely to feature once again as manager Carlo Ancelotti gives fringe players a chance to shine. The Toffees produced arguably the most impressive display of the third round when defeating Championship side Scunthorpe United 5-1 at Glanford Park and will be out to gain revenge for the agonising 2-1 defeat by Chelsea in the 2008/2009 FA cup ...
